The DECONWA Prep serves for: decontamination of raw products before further processing. Gor this purpose, the raw products are washed with fresh water in the machine, with added additives as required.
Decontamination reduces the spoilage rate
this reduces the germ load on the product surface and reduces the transfer of germs from the product peel to cut surfaces during further processing. Therefore, the DECONWA Prep washing and and hygienization system is particularly suitable as a soluiton for the transition from ˝low care˝ to ˝high care˝ production areas.
In addition to the use for preparation of various fruits for fruit salads, thr DECONWA Prep is generally suitable for all applications in which raw products are to be decontaminated before further processing in order to avoid cross-contamination. With adjustable retention times tailored to the respective product, different water flow control for floating and non-floating products and operation as a continuous process or batch process, the DECONWA Prep can be adapted to different production environments.
